International German Gundogan, a team player for Manchester City,launched an attack on Manchester United because of the exclusion of his compatriot Bastian Schweinsteiger from the first team.
Gundogan said, in comments carried by the network "ESPN" remarks: "If everything we hear or read it right, the way it has been dealt with is respectable, is not the son of the 18 or 19 years."
He added: "Nothing is said about the retirement of the international Bastian Schweinsteiger, whether negative or positive, we should feel proud because we have acquired a great player like him."
For his part, Per Mertesacker, Arsenal defender expressed his sympathy with Basti, saying: "It's bad luck, I have joined Manchester United and then changed artistic director comes another does not want."
